Our Story

The Stuffed Olive began its journey as a cozy martini bar tucked away in a small corner of the historic Blackhawk Hotel in Cedar Falls, Iowa. It quickly became a local favorite. In 2005, we expanded our culinary offerings, introducing entrées, shared plates, and flatbreads to perfectly complement our ever-growing signature martini menu. After many wonderful years, our original space closed on January 1, 2019, to make way for the hotel’s renovations.

From there, our premier martini bar experience began to spread across the Midwest:

• September 2019 (Cedar Falls, IA): After our location at the Hotel closed, we moved our venue. Still on Main Street in Downtown Cedar Falls, we serve a vast demographic of guests, including the students and alumni of the University of Northern Iowa!
  
  
• May 2022 (Iowa City, IA): We opened our second location in the Ped Mall, located in the heart of the University of Iowa’s campus area. It has fast become a central gathering place for people of all ages.
  
  
• December 2023 (Omaha, NE): Our third location launched in Omaha’s vibrant Capitol District, situated just steps away from incredible local venues like Steelhouse, the CHI Health Center, and Charles Schwab Field.
  
  
• July 2024 (Madison, WI): The fourth Stuffed Olive debuted just off State Street in downtown Madison. Perfectly positioned near the state Capitol and UW Madison, it is rapidly gaining traction as the city's newest hotspot for everyone to enjoy!
